Apartment No. 135 is a five-story residential building located in Saadat Abad, in the northwest part of Tehran. Each floor contains one individual three-bedroom unit. The ground floor housed the main entrance lobby and multi-purpose room. Other amenities, including a pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, and parking, are located in the basement.

House has special meanings in Iranian architecture, such as hierarchy, legibility, introversion, balance, unity, and especially respect for the privacy of families.
During the past century, according to the changes in people’s lifestyles and the great demand for new construction, most of these precious achievements have changed.

Apartment No. 135’s main design idea was to revitalize lost heritage and give a modern interpretation to the old concept. According to this matter, brick was used as one of the traditional building materials. The building’s facade was designed as a combination of fixed brick panels and protruding modular frames to create a modern and dynamic appearance.

The brick panels in front of the windows act as a temperature buffer by filtering natural lighting. During different times of the day, brick patterns create a beautiful play of light and shadow inside the buildings. This phenomenon could create variety, increase space quality, and provide visual and heat comfort for inhabitants, and also it will play an effective role in energy saving matters.
The rooftop garden and modular flower boxes in front of the windows are designed to improve environmental quality and aesthetic value.
